Mouratoglou Academy, Biot (France)
Joining the Mouratoglou Academy is a key step for young players wishing to combine academic excellence with an intensive tennis programme. To assess their level and potential, the Academy organises selection weeks throughout the year.
Why a selection week?
The selection week is a mandatory step to join the Tennis and School program. It allows us to ensure that candidates possess all the necessary qualities to follow this elite training.
These selections are much more than a simple evaluation: they mark the beginning of a transformative journey, where we make sure that young athletes find the ideal environment to excel in both sports and studies.
It is an exceptional opportunity because every year, our Tennis-Studies program reaches its maximum capacity, with only 200 spots available.
At Mouratoglou Academy, we believe that success is not just about sports performance, but about creating the right atmosphere for each individual to thrive.
Founded by Patrick Mouratoglou, one of the most influential coaches on the international circuit, the Mouratoglou Academy is much more than a tennis school: it is a center of excellence, where each young person is trained to become both a top-level athlete and an accomplished student.
Thanks to a rigorously structured Tennis & School program, we offer a unique environment where sporting performance and academic success go hand in hand. The aim is to bring out each individual’s potential, while respecting their pace and ambitions.
Joining our academy means benefiting from tailor-made coaching and constant attention, whether on the courts or in the classroom. It also means choosing an elite structure founded on strong values: discipline, high standards, surpassing oneself and passion.
At the Mouratoglou Academy, every player is unique. That’s why our approach is based on a tailor-made methodology developed by Patrick Mouratoglou on the basis of over 25 years’ experience on the professional circuit.
This method is based on four essential pillars:
Our ambition is to bring out the potential in each young person, helping them to develop not only as players, but also as individuals. Because training a champion means first and foremost understanding what drives him or her.
At the Mouratoglou Academy, performance cannot exist without balance. That’s why we place the child’s well-being at the heart of our Tennis-Études project, with a committed, multidisciplinary team that is always ready to listen.
Each youngster is supervised by :
Located on the Côte d’Azur, between the sea and the mountains, the Mouratoglou Academy offers its students a living environment that is unique in Europe. More than just a training centre, it’s a truly international campus designed to encourage the development, concentration and serenity of each child.
Joining the Mouratoglou Academy means much more than choosing a tennis school: it means becoming part of a cosmopolitan and multicultural environment, where more than 45 nationalities rub shoulders on a daily basis. This human and cultural richness opens minds, develops adaptability and prepares young people for life in a globalised world.
Each student receives an elite education, combining academic excellence with sporting excellence. Thanks to tailor-made support, our students build a solid, coherent career path that is valued by the best institutions.
Whether their ambition is to become a professional player or go to a prestigious university in France, Europe or the United States, our teams are with them every step of the way. Every year, many of the Academy’s students are awarded sports-study scholarships to the top American universities.
At the Mouratoglou Academy, we train players, but above all we train young people who are ready to succeed in their future, both in tennis and in life.

The Mouratoglou Academy has around 200 students each year. Classes are small, with around 10 students each.
The selection week is used to assess players’ tennis, academic ability and behaviour. It is imperative to go through the selection week to be accepted.
We offer the private French section (candidate libre) and the American section (High School Diploma). The success rate for both programmes is 100% each year.
Lessons are adapted to the sports schedule, with time slots set aside to ensure the best possible balance between studies and sport.
Each day is balanced between sport and study:
