ABOUT THE HACKENSACK TENNIS CENTER
Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of tennis at our first tennis centre in the USA, just 20 minutes from Manhattan, in the heart of the New York metropolitan area.
With 7 state-of-the-art indoor hard courts, including 4 UTS courts, and the vibrant energy of the city, our complex offers everything tennis lovers need, whether beginners or experienced players. In addition, our centre has 4 outdoor and 4 indoor pickleball courts.
Furthermore, exclusively for our members, our facilities offer access to our brand new Country Club, with tailor-made programmes for children and adults, regardless of their level.

RESPONSIBILITIES
& TASKS
As a Coaching Manager, you will embody and apply the Mouratoglou methodology and philosophy both on and off the pitch. Your role is to ensure the standards of excellence defined by Patrick Mouratoglou while adapting the training to the specific needs of the players.
Coaching & Player Development
- Provide customised individual and group coaching with clear and precise feedback.
- Quickly analyse situations, identify players’ needs and act accordingly to improve their skills.
- Implement and maintain the Mouratoglou methodology in every training session.
Team management
- Train, lead and manage a team of Mouratoglou coaches.
- Organise and lead regular meetings and ad hoc training sessions for the coaches.
Organisation & Management
- Liaise with the academy team to create optimal schedules.
- Submit monthly and quarterly reports on coach performance to Academy leadership.
Client & Parent Relations
- Be the main point of contact for all tennis queries.
- Ensure smooth communication with parents and clients and encourage constructive dialogue.
Commercial & Marketing Initiatives
- Act as a driving force to attract external partners and support the enrolment of new players.
- Actively participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
Event organisation
- Plan and support local events to promote recruitment and build the Academy’s reputation.
QUALIFICATIONS
& SKILLS
- Certificate as a tennis coach
- Proven experience in tennis coaching at various levels
- Current competitive level in tennis, ideally with a proven track record and results (national ranking, ITF, ATP)
- Passionate and motivated to learn
- Team spirit and the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening) with strong business acumen
- Fluency in English is essential, any other language is an advantage
- Computer literacy
