Intensive tennis camp for children (training sessions)
Biot, Côte d'Azur, France
Our academy regularly organises intensive full-day tennis training courses for children. Our sports facilities are made available to our young trainees for this purpose. They benefit from our facilities throughout the season, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in Biot near Nice.
These intensive camps are designed to improve children’s sporting performance in competitive and high-level tennis. They are based on the unique methodology developed by Patrick Mouratoglou, who has helped many professional players to achieve their full potential.
Our experts and coaches follow the children throughout the course, which is unique in that it is sports-intensive. Patrick Mouratoglou’s unique method is used to the best advantage of our young trainees.
Why go to an intensive training tennis camp for children?
The notion of camp intensity is linked to the fact that the child is entirely occupied with an activity dedicated to competitive tennis over a relatively short period of time. The advantage of taking an intensive children’s tennis camp is that it allows you to work on areas for improvement and to reinforce some of the strengths that have been identified in the young player, with particular emphasis on the tennis skills that are essential for competitive tennis.
These intensive programmes reflect the spirit of excellence of the Mouratoglou Academy, a benchmark for training young talent.
Intensity can also lead to faster improvements in physical fitness, for example when it is necessary to achieve a good result in a youth tournament held some time after the end of the course.
When is an intensive training camp for children?
These courses can be taken at any time of the year. For short periods, they can take place over a weekend, for example, with the advantage of not disrupting your child’s schooling. They can also be organised during the school holidays. When organised over a short period, they have the advantage of not disrupting the family’s holidays too much. If they are organised over a longer period, they won’t disrupt the child’s schooling either.
Finally, as training courses can lead to a more rapid peak in fitness, we recommend that you also consider them in the run-up to a major competition. Your children will get the most out of them.
