Tennis-Study at the Mouratoglou Academy
Académie Mouratoglou, Biot (France)
Why enrol in the Mouratoglou Academy's tennis-study programme?
The Tennis-Study programme is a benchmark for juniors who want to join the professional circuit one day. This particularly comprehensive programme is reserved for youngsters who pass the selection tests offered during a week-long course at the Mouratoglou Academy. All aspiring players will be tested on their level of tennis, physical condition, academic results and behaviour. Once the tests have been carried out, only those candidates most suited to this programme of excellence will be selected.
Enrolling in Tennis-Study is a great opportunity for juniors to progress alongside the best. The coaches who supervise the juniors all benefit from a wealth of experience and know-how forged through contact with Patrick Mouratoglou, one of the world’s most respected coaches. It’s also an ideal programme for getting to grips with the demands of the professional circuit and hoping one day to have a career in this discipline.
What are the advantages of Tennis-Study for a junior?
At the Mouratoglou Academy, studies and tennis are equally important. To follow the tennis studies course, students can choose from the following school programmes:
The French section: junior and senior high school
The international section (American curriculum): middle school and high school
In either the French or international section, every child is guaranteed the opportunity to play tennis at an advanced level without neglecting his or her academic studies.
Bringing together young players of over 45 different nationalities, the sport-study programme is based on a tried and tested methodology. Each student can count on the attention and expertise of a wide range of instructors to help them make individual progress in all areas, and then show their progress in competitions.
There is no other school in Europe like the Mouratoglou Academy where you can benefit from such high-quality facilities. With more than 33 courts and a huge sports complex housing a 4-star hotel in Sophia Antipolis near Nice, the Academy is a unique place dedicated to performance.
Finally, Tennis-Study training for a junior is the best way to ensure a child’s future in tennis. Here, teaching has the same importance as sporting results, for the balanced development of all students, and is open to all levels, including tennis beginners.
At what age and in what class should you take part in tennis-study?
The tennis-study programme at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy is aimed at young athletes from the year 6 to year 12, i.e. between the ages of 11 and 18 for the French curriculum.
